Job description
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as
Terraform and Ansible.
• Architect, deploy, and manage virtual machines (VMs) across various cloud providers (Azure, AWS,
GCP) to support development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and
reliability through effective load balancing, clustering, and container orchestration techniques.
• Manage Docker and Podman containers, ensuring seamless deployment and operation in both
development and production environments.
• Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or
similar tools to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Maintain and enhance database systems, including upgrades, patching, and performance tuning, to
support the needs of the organization.
• Utilize Telepresence for local development and debugging of microservices-based applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, providing timely resolution and proactive
recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the infrastructure, including network
security, access controls, and data encryption.
• Collaborate with software engineers to streamline application deployment processes and optimize
resource utilization.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and integrating new tools
and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role, preferably in a cloud-based
environment.
• Proficiency in managing virtualized infrastructure, including VM provisioning, configuration, and
optimization.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and their respective services
(VMs, Storage Buckets, CDNs, Load Balancers).
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration
tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Telepresence for local development and debugging of microservices.
• Solid understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools
such as Jenkins.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible for automating
infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks. Strong
problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced,
dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in cloud platforms such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer
Expert, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• Experience working in the automotive industry or with telematics solutions.
• Knowledge of database administration, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack. Exposure to
serverless computing platforms such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
